So I saw these movies yesterday with some friends and
OH
MY
GOD
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World was amazingly awesome. It filled my geekyness full of 100% adrenaline rush, the second time Scott Pilgrim needed to go to the bathroom in the bar I got up and ran out of the theatre to head to the bathroom. I was gonna hold it in the entire time, but there was enough references to "gotta pee" that I was like, "Fuck it, i gotta go!" Afterwards, we were all wanting to go out and get into a fight. We were that pumped up.
The Expendables
That was like a blur of action packed manliness oozing testosterone everywhere that somewhere near the climax of the movie I forgot what was going on and I think I missed several scenes out of the confusion cuz explosions were going everywhere and knives going into people. Just people dying left and right. I stood up and yelled, "OH HELL YEA!" when I saw Steve Austin cuz I'm a wrestling fan loser. Hey, I like how most of it is high flying and mostly choreographed. That's hell of a lot of cooperation to mess with.
So yeah, both movies were awesome in their own ways. Though, strongly preferring Scott Pilgrim as the better of the two cuz I'm a nerd and that movie was awesome the first second it started playing and showed Universal Studios.
